How do I make a bank transfer from Capital One into my Found account?

In order to make a one-time or recurring bank transfer from Capital One, you will use your Found account number and routing number.

You can find both of these from Settings, located at the top left of the screen if using the Found app or below your account balance if using our website.

Here’s how:

1. Log into your Capital One account.

2. In your profile drop down in the top right, go to Account & Feature Settings.

3. Select Mange my External Accounts and then Add an External Account.

4. Enter your Found account number and routing number on the screen.

5. Tap Add account.

6. You may be required to verify two small test deposits sent to your Found account over the next 1-3 days. If you are not required to do so, your account has been automatically verified.

7. Once verified and linked, you will be able to initiate a transfer to your Found account by clicking Transfer or Transfer Money.

8. Select your Found account, enter the payment details and click Transfer to confirm submission.

If you run into issues with regular bank transfer, consider one of the following methods to make a deposit into Found:
