Eligible Found users can link a debit card to transfer funds into and out of their accounts instantly. Not only are these transfers fast, they can happen at any time—including weekends and holidays.
You can link a card by following these steps:
Open the Settings menu and choose Business banking.
Select Linked accounts from the menu.
Select Link your debit card to Found.
Enter your debit card details and select Next when done.
Note: Found supports linking debit cards. Be sure that you aren’t attempting to link a credit card, pre-paid card, or other type of non-debit card.
Tip: If you see an error message when adding a debit card, double check that your billing address in Found exactly matches the address associated with your card.
In order to verify that you’re authorized to link this debit card, we will send a micro-deposit to the bank account associated with that card.
Log into your debit card’s bank account and look for a small deposit from Found. This will be an amount less than $1.
In Found, enter that amount from your bank account on the micro-deposit confirmation screen.
Note: You only have a few chances to verify this micro-deposit amount, so take care to enter the correct amount in Found.
To move money from your linked debit card into Found:
Select Add money.
Choose your linked debit card under Quick Add.
Enter the amount you want to transfer and select Next. Confirm the transfer and your funds will be on their way instantly.
To send funds from Found to your linked debit card:
Select Move money and choose External transfer.
Choose your linked debit card to transfer
Enter the amount you want to transfer and select Next. Keep in mind that transferring funds from Found to your linked debit card carries a 1.75% fee.
Enter the verification code sent to your phone and confirm the transfer.
If you need to remove or replace the card that you’ve linked in Found, you can unlink your card by navigating to Settings and choosing Business banking, then selecting Linked accounts, and tapping the trash can icon next to your linked debit card to remove it.
There are a few reasons why you may not be able to link your debit card to Found:
Your billing address doesn’t match the address on your linked account. Be sure that this exactly matches, including any suite or apartment numbers that may apply.
Your linked card or account is expired, locked, or disabled. Your card must be valid in order to make transfers to and from your linked account.
You tried to link a credit card, prepaid card, or other unsupported card. Be sure that you’re linking a valid debit card and not a credit card.
You have insufficient funds. Double check that the account linked to your debit card has sufficient funds to cover the transfer money that you are trying to make into Found.
Your bank requires additional verification. Some banks will ask for additional verification (e.g. 3D Secure authentication) for any unknown transaction on their card. Keep an eye out for a notification from your bank, often by text or email.
Your bank doesn’t support instant transfers. Not all banks allow instant transfers using their debit cards. You may want to reach out to your bank or card provider to confirm that they support transfers to and from your card.
