How do I link a debit card for instant transfers?

Eligible Found users can link a debit card to transfer funds into and out of their accounts instantly. Not only are these transfers fast, they can happen at any time—including weekends and holidays. You can link a card by following these steps:

  1. Open the Settings menu and choose Business banking.

  2. Select Linked accounts from the menu.

  3. Select Link your debit card to Found.

  4. Enter your debit card details. Be sure that your billing address exactly matches the address associated with your card. Select Next when done.

  5. You may be required to verify the amount of a small deposit sent to your linked account. Enter the amount in Found and select Verify.

Once you’ve linked your debit card to Found, you will be able to instantly transfer funds into or out of your Found account.

To move money from your linked debit card to Found:

  1. Select Add money.

  2. Choose your linked debit card under Quick Add.

  3. Enter the amount you want to transfer and select Next. Confirm the transfer and your funds will be on their way.

To send funds from Found to your linked debit card:

  1. Select Move money and choose External transfer.

  2. Choose your linked debit card to transfer

  3. Enter the amount you want to transfer and select Next. Keep in mind that transferring funds from Found to your linked debit card carries a 1.75% fee.

  4. Enter the verification code sent to your phone and confirm the transfer.

How do I unlink my linked debit card from Found?

If you need to remove or replace the card that you’ve linked in Found, you can unlink your card by navigating to Settings and choosing Business banking, then selecting Linked accounts, and tapping the trash can icon next to your linked debit card to remove it.

Why can’t I link my card?

There are a few reasons why you may not be able to link your debit card to Found:

  • Your billing address doesn’t match the address on your linked account. Be sure that this exactly matches, including any suite or apartment numbers that may apply.

  • Your linked card or account is expired, locked, or disabled. Your card must be valid in order to make transfers to and from your linked account.

  • Your bank doesn’t support instant transfers. Not all banks allow instant transfers using their debit cards. You may want to reach out to your bank or card provider to confirm that they support transfers to and from your card.

  • You tried to link a credit card, prepaid card, or other unsupported card. Be sure that you’re linking a valid debit card and not a credit card.

Why can’t I make an instant deposit into my Found account?

Not all Found accounts are eligible to make instant deposits via a linked debit card. Some reasons for that include past account and transfer history and whether or not your card allows you to make instant deposits. For security and privacy reasons, we’re not able to share details for why an account isn’t eligible for instant deposit.

Are there any fees for instantly transferring funds into or out of my account?

Transfers out of Found via linked debit card carry a 1.75% fee, taken from the amount transferred. For more information about Found fees, see our Fee Schedule.

Do any limits apply to linked card transfers?

Yes, eligible Found users are able to deposit $1,000 per week via linked debit card, and transfer $4,000 per day from Found to their linked debit card. For more information on limits, including higher limits for established accounts, see our limits article.

Can I use my Found card to make instant transfers into my account?

Found supports instant transfers, or deposits made to your debit card information rather than your bank account's account and routing numbers, for a number of different providers, including:
