What do I do if I’m locked out of my account?

I still have access to my email or phone number on file

If you still have access to the email address or phone number associated with your Found account, you can reset your password from the login screen.

  1. From the login screen, select Need help logging in?

  2. Enter the phone number or email address associated with your account.

  3. Enter the verification code we send you. Found employees will never ask you for this code.

  4. Confirm your identity by entering your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security Number.

  5. Create a new password.

I’ve lost access to the email or phone number on my account

You can recover access to your account directly from the Found mobile app.

To start recovery:

  1. From the login screen, select Need help logging in?

  2. Enter the phone number or email address currently associated with your account — even if you no longer have access to it.

  3. On the verification screen, select Can’t access this email? or Can’t access this number?

You’ll then:

If your recovery is approved automatically, you’ll be signed back in right away. Some recoveries require manual review, which can take 1–2 business days.

What if self-serve recovery doesn’t work?

If self-serve recovery isn’t available or your identity verification can’t be completed, contact our team at help@found.com.
