What is accountant access?
If you work with an accountant or bookkeeper to manage your business’s finances, Found’s accountant access makes it easier than ever to collaborate with them. Give your financial professional direct access to your Found account—making your bookkeeping relationship more efficient and eliminating the need to send documents back and forth.
When you give your accountant access, your accountant or bookkeeper will be able to:
- View and edit account activity
- Categorize expenses
- Create and edit rules
- Create and edit expense tags
- Export activity
- Import activity from connected accounts
- Import activity with a CSV
- View and download reports
- View and download your Schedule C form (if applicable)
Accountants have limited access and are not able to:
- Send or move money in or out of your Found account
- Manage subscription settings
- Make account-level changes like editing your email or password
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to give your accountant access.
You can revoke access at any time from the Accountant access page by tapping their name and confirming that you’d like to remove their ability to access your account. Please note that you are responsible for your accountant’s usage of your Found account.
