How do I import transactions from Cash App or QuickBooks?

Import your Cash App and QuickBooks transactions to keep track of all your income and expenses with Found’s bookkeeping and reporting tools. The date, title, note, and amount columns included in your file will be imported into Found. You can add additional information to each transaction once they’ve been added to your Found account.

Importing from Cash App

  1. Sign in to your Cash App account at cash.app/account.

  2. Select Activity then Download to export a CSV file of your transactions.

  3. Sign into your Found account from a desktop browser and go to Activity.

  4. Select Add activity and then select Cash App from the menu.

  5. Upload the CSV file that you exported from Cash App. To ensure a smooth import, upload the original file without any modifications.

  6. Select the date range of the transactions that you’d like to import and track within Found.

Importing from QuickBooks Self-Employed

  1. Sign into your account at accounts.intuit.com.

  2. From Transactions, use the Type, Account, and Time menus to choose what activity to include. Click the Export icon.

  3. Sign into your Found account from a desktop browser and go to Activity.

  4. Select Add activity and then select QuickBooks from the menu.

  5. Upload the CSV file that you exported from QuickBooks. 

Importing from QuickBooks Online

  1. Sign into your account at accounts.intuit.com.

  2. Go to the Business Overview > Reports tab.

  3. In the Reports center, you can either:

    1. Find the Transaction List by Vendor in the Expenses and Vendors section or Transaction List by Date in the For My Accountant section.

    2. Alternatively, enter “transaction” in the search bar.

  4. Click the Export dropdown button and select Export as CSV. Find the file in your computer’s Downloads folder.

  5. Sign into your Found account from a desktop browser and go to Activity.

  6. Select Add activity and then select QuickBooks from the menu.

  7. Upload the CSV file that you exported from QuickBooks. 

Need to import transactions from another bank account or credit card? Found Plus subscribers are able to import their transactions from linked accounts.
