Can I deposit cash into my Found account?



Found account holders can easily deposit cash at over 77,000 retail locations nationwide, and funds will be available in your Found account in seconds.

Using your Found app, you can find a participating retail location near you, generate a unique barcode for that location, and deposit your cash with the cashier. No bank needed!

Once the transaction is complete, we recommend requesting a receipt from the cashier. Your deposit should appear in your Found account within seconds.

Can I swipe my card instead of scanning the barcode? 

In order to successfully deposit cash into your Found account, the merchant will need to scan the barcode to begin the deposit transaction.

If you’re asked to swipe or insert your card for the deposit, tell the cashier that they should scan the barcode instead of trying to swipe your card.

Is there a fee to deposit cash? 

Yes, you have one free cash deposit each month. After that, there is a $1.75 fee to complete each cash deposit. This fee will be deducted from the amount deposited. This means that if you go to deposit $100 into your Found account, $98.25 would be added to your account balance. 

What are the limits for cash deposits?

With cash deposits, you can deposit up to $2,000 per rolling 7 days, and up to $4,000 per rolling 30 days. The minimum cash deposit size must be $5. Maximum deposit amounts may be limited by the merchant.
