Found users have a few different addresses: your business address, which you may have provided during the business verification process, your personal address, and a shipping address for your Found debit card.
If your personal address changes, you can update those details in your Found app. Here’s how:
In Found, tap the profile icon (top left on mobile, top right on desktop) and open the Settings gear.
Select the pencil icon next to Personal address.
Enter your new address and select Submit to save your changes.
You may be required to provide documentation showing your name and new address. If prompted, our team will review within 1-2 business days.
Address restrictions: PO Boxes, non-US addresses, APO/FPO military addresses, PMB (Private Mailbox) addresses, virtual mailbox or mail forwarding services, and CMRA (Commercial Mail Receiving Agency) addresses cannot be used as your personal or business address.
If you need a new or additional Found debit card, you can update your shipping address as part of the card request process. This does not need to be your personal address. Your Found card can be delivered to a PO Box, even though one can’t be used as your business address.
If you’re prompted to provide additional documentation when updating your address, you can provide any of the following documents:
Valid US-issued driver’s license
Utility bill issued within the last 60 days
Paystub issued within the last 60 days
Bank, credit card, or mortgage statement issued within the last 60 days
Current lease agreement
Current vehicle registration
Be sure that this document contains both your full legal name and the exact address that you’re updating to.
You can update your business address yourself from Account Settings on both mobile and desktop. When you submit a new business address, it goes through a verification process before being applied:
Auto-approval: Some address changes are approved automatically. The most common case is when the business has a single owner and the new business address matches the owner’s personal address on file (a typical home-based business setup). Other addresses may auto-approve if they pass automated compliance checks.
Document review: If automatic verification isn’t possible, you’ll be prompted to upload supporting documents (such as a utility bill, lease, or bank statement). The verification status shows as pending until reviewed.
State change: If the new address is in a different state than your current one, additional information may be required.
While verification is pending, you can view the status in Account Settings. A pending address change can also be cancelled.
