How do bank transfers via invoice work?

How do bank transfers via invoice work?

If your client chooses to pay the Invoice via ACH bank transfer or Wire transfer, they will be shown your Found routing & account number for them to use to initiate a transfer into your Found account via their external bank account.

Once your client has initiated a transfer from their external bank account, you can expect to see the transfer arrive in your Found account 1-2 business days later.

If you’re expecting a payment that you haven’t received yet, we recommend taking these steps:

Contact the sender

The timing of your deposit depends on when the sender initiates the payment to your Found account and the system they use to process it. If you are missing a deposit, please contact the sender to confirm when they initiated the deposit and how long they expect it to arrive.

Wait a couple of days

Next, wait at least three business days to give the transfer time to process through the banking system. If your transfer still does not show up in your account, then get in touch. Make sure to include any relevant details about the transfer from the sender, including the amount and date sent in addition to any tracking details the sender can provide.

Found, like most banking systems, is affected by weekends, as well as federal and bank holidays. On these days, other banks cannot process deposits, which may delay the arrival of a direct deposit or wire transfer until the next day.

Still haven’t received your deposit? Reach out to our Customer Experience team and they’ll be happy to help you track this down. If you need assistance with an ACH or wire transfer, be sure to provide a trace number to get the ball rolling faster.
