Whether you’re paying a contractor, a supplier or a friend, you’ll find all the functionality you need right in your Found account.
You can send payments with Found in a few different ways. To begin, choose Move Money in the top right of your Banking home screen to see various options.
If the recipient has a Found account, you can search their Found tag when adding or selecting the contact to receive payment.
🕜 Payments to other Found accounts are instant and free.
If the receipt doesn’t have a Found account or they want to be paid elsewhere, you can send them a message via email or text with options to accept payment in a variety of ways.
They will choose one of the following options in your message and complete the process on their end:
Transfer to their debit card: 🕜 Payments will be made instantly
Transfer to their bank account: 🕜 Payments will be made within 1-2 business days
Transfer to Paypal, Venmo, or Cashapp: 🕜 Payments will be made within 1-2 business days
Sign up for a Found account: 🕜 Payments will be made instantly once they've open an account
Tip: When creating a business contact in Found, you can note whether they prefer to receive these payment messages via text or email.
If you know a recipient wants to be paid into their bank account, you can send a payment directly to their account number and routing number—no email or text required.
To do this, you can edit the recipient contact, click on the default payment delivery option, select “Bank account”, and then enter their legal name, account number, and routing number.

If you’re making the payment for a contractor service, choose Pay a Contractor from this Move Money drop down or in the top right of the Payments section of the app.
You’ll have the same payment options as above, but you will also have the ability to require a W-9 form before the other person can accept the payment.
Tip: Requiring a W-9 is a handy step to add to your contractor management process. This will make sure you have required tax documents for contractors you’re paying throughout the year, so there’s not a last minute scramble come tax time.
If you select Mail a check, we’ll take care of printing, stamping, and mailing a check – you just need to input some information in the app and order it to be sent.
On the payment screen, make sure you enter the recipient’s mailing address for check delivery, and feel free to add an optional memo for your recipient or internal note for yourself
🕜 It will typically take 5-10 business days for the check to be delivered via mail.

If you choose Send a domestic wire, you can send a bank wire to a recipient in the U.S.
On the payment information screen, enter the amount, the recipient, the account details and address of the recipient, and optionally any wire instructions for the recipient or a note for yourself.
🕜 Wire requests submitted by 2:30pm ET will be processed the same business day, unless additional review is required. Once processed and sent, most receiving banks will receive and process wires within 1 business day.

Under Move Money, select External Transfer and then Standard - Bank account.
Connect to your bank account through Plaid and securely transfer money by entering your bank account details, securely linking your account, and transferring funds.
🕜 Transfers will take 1-2 business days and is free.
Under Move Money, select External Transfer and then Instant - Debit card.
🕜 Transferring to a debit card is instant.

You can transfer money between the Pockets in your Found account at any time, instantly and for free.
