How do I close my Found account?

How do I close my Found account?

We’re sorry to see you go!

You can request that your Found bank account be closed by following these steps:

  1. Log into your Found account and click the icon that shows your profile picture or business name in the top corner of the screen.

  2. Choose Account from the dropdown Settings menu.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Request link next to "Close account."

A member of our Customer Experience team will reach out with a response within one business day to confirm your account closure. Once the account has been closed, you will be able to transfer any remaining balance from the account by logging in and connecting an external bank account.

What if I didn't finish creating my Found account?

If you have not completed the onboarding process, an account has not been created in your name and you do not need to go through this process. To unsubscribe from any marketing emails sent to you by Found, click Manage Email Preferences at the bottom of the email that you received.
