For security reasons, account closure can't be initiated by email or by support — it has to be done by you from inside your Found account. Here's how:
Log into your Found account.
On Desktop, click your profile name in the top right corner and then the Settings icon. On Mobile, tap the profile icon in the top left corner and then the Settings icon.
Scroll to the bottom and select Close Account.
Reminder: make sure to transfer any remaining balance out of your Found account before closing it. After closure, you can still log back in to transfer a remaining balance to a linked external bank account.
Multiple businesses on one login: Closure is a business-level action. The Close Account link closes only the business currently active in the app or on the website — other businesses on the same login stay open. To close a specific business, switch to it first using the business selector, then follow the same path.
If you have not completed the onboarding process, an account has not been created in your name and you do not need to go through this process. To unsubscribe from any marketing emails sent to you by Found, click Unsubscribe at the bottom of the email that you received.
