When will my funds be available?

The timeline for receiving deposited funds will depend on the type of deposit you have made. Here’s an outline of the expected delivery times for the types we offer:

  • Direct deposits
    Deposits appear in your Found account as soon as they are received, typically within 1-2 business days. At times, your deposit will appear as pending while it is reviewed.

  • Wire transfers
    Inbound wire transfers will appear in your Found account as soon as they are received, typically within 1-2 business days. At times, your deposit will appear as pending while it is reviewed.

  • Deposits to your Found debit card
    Many payment platforms (like Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App) and on-demand work platforms (like Uber, Homeaglow, and DoorDash) offer deposits to a debit card. These transactions typically appear in your Found account within minutes.

  • Deposits from a linked debit card
    Eligible customers may transfer funds from a linked debit card, which typically appear within minutes.

  • Deposits from payment processors (Square or Stripe)
    Deposits appear in your Found account as soon as they are received. At times, your deposit will appear as pending while it is reviewed.

  • Cash deposits
    Available immediately.

  • Check deposits
    Funds from check deposits typically become available 5 business days after being deposited.

Where is my deposit?

Don’t see your funds in your Found account yet? This means the sender has not fully processed the transfer—Found will always show transfers to you as soon as we receive them.

  • Contact the sender for that deposit. Confirm that they have processed the deposit and what timeline they expect it to be received.

  • Please wait for three business days, some parts of the banking system can be slow, and transfers can take some time to arrive with us. We will show the transfer in your account as soon as it is received.

  • If it has been three business days since the sender confirmed your transfer, get in touch. Make sure to include any relevant details about the transfer from the sender, including the amount and date sent as well as any tracking details the sender can provide—you can contact us directly at [email protected].

Why is my deposit pending?

At times, Found may review an incoming deposit to your account. Our team is committed to ensuring the security of our customers’ accounts and deposit reviews are part of our safety efforts.

Reviews are typically completed same-day, but our team may require additional information to release the deposit. If your inbound ACH or wire transfer is pending, keep an eye on your email for a message from our team for further instructions.

If your deposit has been pending for more than a day without a follow-up email from Found, reach out to our team at [email protected] (or through your Found app) and we’ll help move this process forward.
