When will my funds be available?

The timeline for receiving deposited funds will depend on the type of deposit you have made. Here’s an outline of the expected delivery times for the types we offer:

  • Direct deposits
    Deposits appear in your Found account as soon as they are received, typically within 1-2 business days. In rare cases your deposit will appear as pending while it is reviewed.

  • Wire transfers
    Inbound wire transfers will appear in your Found account as soon as they are received, typically within 1-2 business days.

  • Deposits from payment platforms (Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App)
    Available immediately.

  • Deposits from on-demand work platforms (Uber or DoorDash)
    Available immediately.

  • Deposits from payment processors (Square or Stripe)
    Deposits appear in your Found account as soon as they are received. In rare cases your deposit will appear as pending while it is reviewed.

  • Cash deposits
    Available immediately.

  • Check deposits
    Funds from check deposits typically become available 5 business days after being deposited.

Don’t see your funds in your Found account yet? This means the sender has not fully processed the transfer—Found will always show transfers to you as soon as we receive them.

  1. Contact the sender for that deposit. Confirm that they have processed the deposit and what timeline they expect it to be received.

  2. Please wait for three business days, some parts of the banking system can be slow, and transfers can take some time to arrive with us. We will show the transfer in your account as soon as it is received.

  3. If it has been three business days since the sender confirmed your transfer, get in touch. Make sure to include any relevant details about the transfer from the sender, including the amount and date sent as well as any tracking details the sender can provide—you can contact us directly at [email protected].
