Found is built to help self-employed people manage their business income, expenses, and taxes. Anyone who works for themselves is considered “self-employed.” Personal trainers, rideshare drivers, interior designers, estheticians, photographers, delivery drivers are usually self-employed.
If your business is managed using an S-Corp or you're running a non-profit, Found's tax features may not fit your needs. But, with that said, you may find our invoice, payment, and banking features useful.
Found provides five important services for small business owners:
Business banking: You’ll be given a free business bank account where you can receive deposits from clients or employers. You’ll also receive a Found debit card, which you can use for business purchases. Every payment and purchase is documented in your Found account, so that your records are clear and IRS-compliant.
Effortless accounting: Found’s built-in bookkeeping tools help you find tax savings with every business purchase. Category rules, transaction tags, and integrated reporting makes it easy to manage your business income and expenses.
Auto-saving for taxes: If you’re a Schedule C filer, Found will automatically calculate your owed tax on earned business income. If auto-saving for taxes is enabled, Found will then set the estimated owed amount aside in your Taxes pocket so you’re never short on Tax Day. Found Plus subscribers can conveniently make quarterly federal tax payments directly from the app.
Easy invoicing: Create custom invoices, set up flexible payment solutions, and get paid on time with Found invoices. See when your invoices are viewed or paid, and free up your time with scheduled and recurring invoices. We even send payment reminders!
Pay contractors: Found makes hiring and paying 1099 contractors simple. Easily collect W-9 forms, pay your team quickly, and stay on top of taxes at the end of the year. There are no per-contractor fees or monthly fees unlike other contractor management tools out there.
