Introducing Mailing Paper Checks

A new way to pay the old-fashioned way
Feature SpotlightsDecember 12, 2024

No matter how digital your business becomes, there's always that one vendor who only accepts paper checks. You write the check, mail it off, and then... the waiting game begins. Did they receive it? When will they cash it? Your books show the money as "spent," but it's still sitting in your account, creating a financial limbo that can throw off your cash flow projections and accounting.

Meanwhile, you check your bank account daily, waiting for that check to finally clear so your finances can reconcile. It's a frustrating waiting game that takes up your limited mental space and complicates your otherwise streamlined financial management.

With Found, you can build a payment workflow that does the hard work for you.

Introducing: Send checks through Found

Mail paper checks through Found online business bank account

Now, with a few taps, it's easy to send a paper check to anyone. You can select a recipient from your existing contacts (or add a new one), input the desired check amount, and add a memo visible on the check. We'll take it from there–handling the printing, stamping, and mailing for you—all for just a dollar.

Funds are withdrawn immediately from your selected pocket, so you'll never have to worry about insufficient funds or waiting for that check deposit to hit.

Tip: Need to keep track of business expenses by category? Choose which pocket to mail the check from to automatically categorize the expense for tax time.

Track your check's progress from printing to delivery in real-time through the Found app. Allow 5-10 business days for delivery via USPS. You'll receive an email notification from Found when your check is deposited by the recipient.

Once your check has been sent, it's easy to keep tabs on all your payments. See when your checks are in transit, delivered, or cashed. Found will even send you an email when your recipient deposits the check so you don't have to wonder.
