Can I make purchases with my tax balance?

Can I make purchases with my tax balance?

If you need to make a purchase and the amount in your available balance does not cover the amount needed, you can instantly transfer funds from your Taxes account into your available balance.

Alternatively, you can enable Flexible Spending to automatically use a portion of your Taxes account when your available balance isn’t sufficient. Flexible Spending will automatically pull funds from your tax savings account to cover the cost of any transactions not fully covered by your available balance.

Flexible Spending is enabled by default, but you can toggle this feature on or off by following these steps:

On mobile

  1. Log into your Found account

  2. Tap Taxes account on the Banking screen

  3. Tap the selector next to Flexible spending

On desktop

  1. Log into your Found account

  2. Navigate to the Taxes tab

  3. Tap Edit next to Flexible spending

  4. Adjust the toggle to enable or disable Flexible Spending.

Flexible Spending can only be used for card transactions. If you need to make a bank transfer and your available balance isn’t sufficient, be sure to transfer funds from your tax balance to cover the difference.

Found is available on iOS, Android, and desktop.
