What are the payment methods available when sending an invoice?

What are the payment methods available when sending an invoice?

When you create and send an invoice, in the invoice settings, you are able to enable or disable a variety of payment methods.

The available payment method options include:

  • Found-to-Found Transfer

  • ACH Bank Transfer

  • Domestic Wire Transfer

  • Credit or Debit card payment, processed through Stripe.

  • Cash App

  • Venmo

  • Paypal

  • Zelle (Found does not directly support Zelle, but you can input your Zelle details if you have Zelle through a different banking provider.)

If the client is also a Found user and they pay the Invoice from their Found account, the funds would transfer to your account instantly.

If the client pays via ACH bank transfer or Wire transfer, they will be provided your Found routing & account number for them to then initiate a transfer into your Found account via their external bank account.

If you enable the debit/credit card option, you'd either link your existing Stripe account or create a Stripe account to process the card payments. These funds would transfer to Found once Stripe releases them, and if you choose to have Stripe use your Found account for payouts. Stripe charges a 2.9% + 30¢ fee per transaction. Click here to learn more about card payments on invoices.

If you enable the CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal options, the client is given instructions to send funds through whichever payment app they choose. (These payments would be sent directly through the payment app, and you'd then need to transfer the funds to Found if you ultimately want the funds to reach your Found account).

There are no fees to receive payment via the ACH bank transfer, wire transfer, or the payment apps options.

Found is available on iOS, Android, and desktop.
