How do I add money to my Found account?

How do I add money to my Found account?

Whether you get paid by bank transfers, payment apps, cash, or checks, it’s easy to add money to your Found account. Here’s how to add funds to your account:

Direct deposits: Deposits to Found from other banks will typically arrive to your Found account within 1 to 3 business days, unless additional review is required. You can find your Found account and routing numbers in the Settings menu in your app, as well as in your Primary pocket. Need a direct deposit enrollment form for an employer or client’s payroll? You can find one in your Documents.

Wire transfers: Similar to direct deposits, wire transfers can also be sent to Found accounts and will typically settle within 1 to 3 business days, unless additional review is required. Wire transfers can be sent to your Found account and routing numbers, but keep in mind that only wires sent from US-based institutions can be accepted.

Payment processors like Square or Stripe: If you use Square or Stripe to accept payments from your customers, you can add Found to those services to automatically receive payouts on a regular schedule. These payouts will typically be available within one business day. You can even accept in-person credit or debit card payments through Stripe using the Found app.

Payment apps like Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal: Found supports standard and instant transfers from payment apps like Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal. Funds sent to your account and routing numbers will be available within one business day, while funds sent to your Found debit card will be available immediately. Note that instant transfers typically carry a fee, charged by the payment app that you’re using.

Cash deposits*: You can easily deposit cash at 80,000+ retail locations nationwide, and funds will be available in your Found account in seconds. To deposit cash, select Add Money in your Found app and choose “Cash.” Visit a nearby participating retailer, generate a barcode for them to scan, and hand the cashier your cash. You’ll see the funds in your account almost instantly.

Check deposits: If eligible, you can deposit a check directly in your Found app. To check your eligibility or to deposit a check, select Add Money and choose “Mobile check deposit.” Once submitted, funds will typically be available after 5 business days, unless additional review is required.

Invoices and payments: You can request payment from your clients directly from Found using our invoices and request payment features. Navigate to the Invoices tab and click the Plus button. You can choose "Create invoice" or "Request money from someone" in this menu, and send an email or SMS to request payment from your client.
