How do I fund my Found account?

How do I fund my Found account?

If you’re new to Found, one of the first steps to take is to transfer funds into your account. There are a number of ways to fund your account:

Direct deposits: Deposits to Found from other banks will typically arrive to your Found account within 1 to 3 business days, and can be initiated with your Found account and routing numbers. You can access your Found account and routing numbers from the Primary pocket and Business Banking pages. Need a direct deposit enrollment form? You can find one in your Documents.

Wire transfers: Similar to direct deposits made through the ACH network, wire transfers can also be sent to Found accounts and typically settle within 1 to 3 business days. Wire transfers can be initiated using your Found account and routing numbers, but keep in mind that only wires sent from US-based institutions can be accepted.

Payment processors like Square or Stripe: You can also use your Found account and routing numbers to transfer money to your Found account from a payment processor. Funds from these deposits will typically be available within one business day.

Payment apps like Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal: Found supports standard and instant transfers from payment apps like Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal. Funds sent to your account and routing numbers will be available within one business day, while funds sent to your Found debit card will be available immediately. Note that these instant transactions typically carry a small fee, which is charged by the payment app that you’re using.

Cash deposits‡: You can easily deposit cash at 79,000+ retail locations nationwide, and funds will be available in your Found account in seconds. To deposit cash, click the Add Money button in your Found app and choose “Cash.” From there, you’ll be able to locate a participating retail location and generate a unique barcode, which you’ll provide to the cashier to deposit cash.

Check deposits: If eligible, you can deposit a check directly in your Found app. To check your eligibility or to deposit a check, click the Add Money button and choose “Deposit a check.” Once submitted, funds will typically be available after 5 business days.

Invoices and payments: You can request payment from your clients directly from Found using our invoices and request payment features. To create a new invoice, click the Add Money button and choose "Send an invoice." You can choose "Create an invoice" or "Send request" from this menu. You'll be able to send an email or SMS to request payment from your client.
